Book a flight and spend NYE on a beach in another country: check!

I spent New Years Eve in the Dominican Republic at the Melia Caribe Tropical resort in Punta Cana. My sister and I loved the idea of creating a new holiday tradition + had been planning on doing a trip for the last year. We stayed at The Level [the adults only section of the resort] and spent the holiday drinking coconuts on a private beach- so much better than the snowy new years eve’s I’m used to. Here are some pictures from my trip!
