Welcome to my the new travel section on my blog! I spend so much of my time traveling to different cities [more like eating my way through different cities] and I felt like my old site just didn’t represent how much I LOVE finding new places. Seriously, if you were to ask me my favorite thing about any part of my job the answer usually involves food. My travel page is where I can share all of my top spots and recommendations with you!

It’s Cinco De Mayo! It would literally be wrong to start this with any other place besides Antique Taco.

WHAT: Antique Taco

TRY: Pork Carnitas Tacos, Rosemary Margaritas

Obsessed is a light way of putting my love for Antique Taco. I feel like I over-hype it because I rave about it just that much but then I go back and think ‘nope. You’re completely justified in wanting to marry this taco’.

It’s an adorable, small restaurant in Wicker Park. Basically, it’s a hipster’s dream. It’s all wooden picnic tables and there’s cute straws and it’s really relaxed. PERFECT FOR INSTAGRAMMING. But social media aside, the food is literally so. amazing. Did you hear that?! I WOULD TURN OFF MY PHONE FOR THIS. That’s how you know it’s real.

My pick? The pork carnitas tacos and rosemary margaritas.

THERE’S BACON ON THAT TACO.

I’m jealous of myself right now because I got to eat those tacos. The ghost of tacos past. I’m not a big pulled pork person by any means, but this is what dreams are made of. Wow I sound super gross for being this excited about food.

Rosemary margaritas are pretty straight forward. May sound strange to some, but I el you vee margaritas and rosemary, so what could be better than putting the two together. You won’t regret trying it. It comes in this little jar and you definitely get more than one glass out of it. Share it with someone, or be smart and don’t and drink it all for yourself.

I’ve tried almost everything at this restaurant and like it all, but these are my top picks. If you’re currently in Chicago, WHAT ARE YOU DOING GO RIGHT NOW WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!?!

If you’re not local, definitely stop here if you get to visit! It’s worth it, promise.
