Fall is my absolute favorite season- the colder air. Changing leaves. Pumpkin spice lattes [call me basic, I do nooooot care. I will spin around in all of my basic-ness]. And, of course- leggings. This is my first official ‘fall’ living in California, and while we might not get the typical season [tears] I won’t actually complain about it because I’ll get to wear outfits like this one below all ‘winter’ long. And to anyone who still loves to say ‘leggings aren’t pants’, I’d like you to meet this pair from White House Black Market. They have zippers. And panels. And pockets. And they are pants. And they are beautiful.

My goal is to be as comfortable as possible in everything that I wear, and these pieces do just that [I scare myself with statements like that. Not because I’m like ‘wow, you sound like a grandma‘ but because I know I sound like a grandma and I still. don’t. care]. I love the look of leather pants or any version of them, but I hate how tight and difficult they are to put on / wear / etc. These leggings are a much more realistic, wearable option.Also- I went out on a limb with these boots, because they’re not my typical shoe / they’re a little higher than I wear day to day, but they also are SO COMFORTABLE. I wore them for the first time for an all day shoot [which could have been a miserable experience] and I was completely fine!

I’m even more in love with you after this post! Not only is this outfit flawless, but I love that you are on Team Leggings! I am all about wearing leggings as pants and I love these. I’ve always wanted to try leather pants, but full on leather pants are just so unflattering, but I love that these are only on the front.

Great outfit. I envy You Your new “winter” because it gets really cold where I live. But right now it’s still fall and we can enjoy fall fashion. It’s all about skirts and blazers for me. Love putting together different combinations. Still – a good pair of leggins is a must have.
