Nothing says glamour quite like the red soles of Christian Louboutin heels. I decided to take one of the most recognizable fashion symbols and turn it into a nail design. Here is what I call the red sole manicure-

The great thing about this little trick is that you can do it with any kind of color on the top. It’s unnoticed until you’re moving your hands around. Very subtle, but feels super glamorous when it’s done!

My nails naturally don’t grow very long / strong, so I have acrylic nails filed into an almond shape [really taking stiletto nails literally here] Paint two coats of a bright red polish on to the backs of your nails to recreate this style [I used butter london’s ‘ladybird’].  I’d go for a brighter red [even an orange-y red] because the black polish on top of my nails darkened the base. [or paint white and then a coat of red, your call!]
