Hey guys! As you know, I just moved cross country AND I’m getting married in two months- whew! To say it’s been busy is an understatement. I need a nap. Or six. Seriously. So that’s what inspired today’s post with Mattress Firm!
As you guys know, Cody and I picked this apartment together because it’s going to be our first home when we are married! We really wanted this place to be a reflection of us. We’ve picked out everything that is in this apartment together- the furniture, the decor, and our new mattress. We wanted to find something that worked great for both of us and gave us the best night’s sleep- especially with the wedding coming up, I need sleep now more than ever!
If you follow me on YouTube or Instagram, you know that I was sick a lot these past two months, so I’ve really been trying to get healthy, considering how many wedding-related events are coming up.
My routine: stay hydrated, eat healthy, and get a lot of sleep. I’ve been upping my water intake, getting through a 50oz water bottle a day [keeping it in bottles really helps me keep track / encourages me to actually drink it]. I’ve been loving eating a ton of fruit [especially something like watermelon, because it’s great, refreshing and sweet and has more water in it] I completely cut out added sugars from my diet AND all dairy [which has been super difficult for me because I LOVE CHEESE but I wanted to avoid getting more sinus infections / wanted to be healthier / wanted to feel my best for the wedding!] Another part of feeling my best for the wedding has been getting enough rest. I’ve REALLY been training myself to not be a night owl- to go to sleep by 11pm [ish] and wake up earlier. Upgrading my mattress has also been a HUGE factor in the better sleep I’ve been getting!

I mean… laying on a bunch of mattresses and ‘testing out’ napping for ‘research’? I was all about it.
