Faux fur vests have been popular for awhile, especially in the colder months. I’ve never been a fan of them but for some reason I’ve been drawn to them this season [seriously, if you told me a few years ago I’d be obsessed with faux fur I’d ask you if you were high]. Here’s one of the outfits I would wear with a vest / some styling tips in case you are skeptical on the idea-

I like this fur piece because it’s more like a sweater vest- it adds texture to a monochromatic outfit without being overwhelmingly large or obnoxious. I think faux fur looks best when paired with the same color- it adds depth and dimension and keeps it from looking tacky. Pair it with other simple pieces like leggings, turtlenecks and other solids to keep it classy instead of cheap.
