Essie Fall 2011 “Brand New Bag” Collection && Deborah Lippman “Get This Party Started” Kit Swatches and Review

Items Pictured:
1. “Get This Party Started” Polish Trio: Deborah Lippman (Gifted from Nikki, Ingrid && Allison)
Colors included within set: Happy Birthday, Candy Shop, Forget You
Polish Swatched in Order: Essence “You Belong to Me” with “Happy Birthday”, “Happy Birthday”, and “Candy Shop”

Thank you so much girls for this gift! I’ve never owned Deborah Lippman nailpolish before, but I’ve only heard amazing things about her sparkly polishes. I have immediate plans to layer happy birthday over my tiffany blue nails once finished with this post ๐Ÿ™‚

The pictures above make me so happy. Some of my favorite things- sparkles, tiffany’s, && love from some very wonderful people.

Make sure to check out their channels- they are some of the funniest && sweetest girls!

Items Pictured:
1. Essie, “Lady Like”
2. Essie, “Carry On”
3. Essie, “Power Clutch”

These are three shades from Essie’s Fall 2011 “Brand New Bag” collection.
Power clutch is an AMAZING charcoal- sure to be my new fall staple. Carry On is
MUCH prettier than the swatch photograph- it’s a true deep wine as opposed to the muddy color it appears. Lady like is this really pretty mushroomy-lavender color (that I swear is my sister in nailpolish form)
Items Pictured:
1. Essie “Tart Deco”
2. Essie “Borrowed and Blue”
3. Essence “You Belong to Me”

Tart Deco looks as the bottle picture appears, the swatch photographed this weird bright
red (Only China Glaze dries seventeen shades darker than the bottle, not this polish!) Borrowed and Blue has been a long time favorite, I just finally joined the love club. This essence polish was only 99 cents at Ulta and is my new favorite polish HANDS DOWN.
The perfect tiffany blue color, a wonderfully opaque polish- and even prettier (if possible) when layered with the Deborah Lippman glitter. I can not rave about this enough! I rarely wear colors on my fingers (I purchase the polish- but always end up painting my nails silver, black, or white) (I’m loyal to what I love) but I’ve had this color on for three days now and there’s no sign of me turning back anytime soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Polishes not pictured:
1. Essie “Buy Me a Cameo”
2. OPI “Mod About You”
3. Deborah Lippman “Forget You”

Essie’s “Buy Me a Cameo” was another addition to my rose gold polishes I’ve collected this summer- in the bottle it’s a pretty color, but the polish is VERY sheer. If you’re looking for a true rose tone, I wouldn’t recommend this as your go-to shade. I’d stick with either Orly “Rage” or the Anise polish from DSW I swatched in an earlier post.

Jenny sent me the OPI “Mod About You” polish literally yesterday- so I will post pictures of this polish as soon as I can! She’s such a sweetheart for getting me this!
