What’s In My Beauty Cabinet?!

MOVING UPDATE: My closet is organized and my every day beauty products are perfectly set up, but I have barely any food and some of my furniture is still not yet assembled. I figured- ‘what better time to post a ‘what’s in my medicine cabinet’ video while the rest of my apartment continues to lie in shambles?’, so, here we are. Watch the video below to peak inside my bathroom beauty cabinet and spy some of my all time favorite items.

Products Mentioned:
1. Vaseline Total Moisture
2. L’ancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover
3. Olay Total Effects Face Lotion
4. DDF Wrinkle Resist Pore Plus Minimizer
4. DDF Amplifying Elixir
5. St. Ives Apricot Scrub
6. Dove Clinical Strength Deodorant
7. Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool
8. DDF Sensitive Skin Cleansing Gel
9. Nail Polish Remover Pads

These ‘What’s in My-‘ type posts or videos are my absolute favorite guilty viewing pleasure. I love seeing the products people use in their most real setting and seeing how they organize them. I used to be a very disorganized person [I know, you probably won’t believe that, but having a clean-obsessed mother, sister and roommate will rub off on you] so these types of posts always help me find new tips and tricks on how to work with the space I’ve got. I read on a survey that a large percentage of women keep over four body lotions at a time in their medicine cabinets [yes, I read a survey about what other women keep in their bathroom. Thanks, twitter]. One of my biggest tips with living in smaller spaces is learning to become a minimalist! I find the best double duty beauty products I love and use them up before buying anything new. I highly recommend the products I’ve shown if you’re looking to clean up your space or just try something new. Oh alright, forget just recommending them- how bout giving some away instead?! Comment below how many lotions YOU keep in your medicine cabinet for a chance to win a bottle of Vaseline’s Total Moisture lotion- I’m giving away 5 of them to my readers πŸ™‚

  1. I keep 3 body lotions. I use Udderly Smooth Cream which works wonders for my skin, it's my go too. If I need deep moisture I use Vaseline Cocoa Butter Gel. It takes a while to soak in so I let it sit over night. When I wake up my skin is glowing. If I want a fun lotion I used any scented type from Victoria Secret or Bath and Body Works. Love your blog Carly!

I don't have a medicine cabinet anymore πŸ™ so instead i put a shelf up and it has my 20+ lotions (I'm a bath and body works addict)

  3. Cutie Pie!! says:

I keep at least two at all times in my beauty cabinets to prevent those times when you run out of lotion at like 10 atnight so you awkwardly have to drive and get lotion at the drugstore. Well that probably only happens to me, but yeah ahahahha Also I like to have a light scent and a stronger scent to switch it up!

  4. Obsessed Is an Understatement says:

I tend to keep 3 types of lotion. A thicker, unscented one, a light fruity one (typically from Bath and bodyworks) and also a "warmer" smelling one, usually something vanllia-like.

  5. beautybeautyfitness says:

I currently keep 2 lotions in the bathroom, but I have quite an inventory in the linen closet – probably somewhere around 10. Yikes! lol

  6. I have two but I'm currently using just one. I'd love a new one because this one isn't enough for my skin. That's what I get for buying lotions based on their scent! πŸ™

  7. beautyphoebs says:

i dont have my own medecine cabinet but i keep my lotions in my big dresser in my room, i'd say i have about 5 actual lotions and then i have creams and butters etc.. :p xx

  8. Rebekah Watkins says:

  9. Love this video! I too have sensitive skin, so it's nice to hear that others have the same challenge but are finding awesome products that work. I've been using Apricot Scrub for years, and I LOVE it! It's by far one of my favorite skin care products.

I just started a fashion blog this year and I would love for you to check it out and follow me if you like it πŸ™‚
