Spring Style Inspiration in My New Office

Ever since I moved to my new house I’ve been so busy traveling it’s taken me awhile to get my new office set up and I’m so excited it’s finally done! If you remember my first apartment in LA, I had my closet and office in the same room, which is how I set up the new house too. In decorating my office, I stuck with my usual style and life aesthetic: neutrals. I love how everything came together seamlessly, and the amazing light I get in my office keeps me energized. [Remember how my loft was so dark, and I felt like I lived inside a well?]

I work from home most of the time planning, filming, and editing my videos. So I have a garment rack with my current favorites to help inspire me while I’m working in my office. I wanted to give you a sneak peek into my new space and what is inspiring me at the moment.

Spring trends on my garment rack that are inspiring me at the moment:

Romantic tops – Since I live in LA and we don’t have a proper winter, an off the shoulder top can be the perfect transitional weather staple. It shows a little skin and has a romantic feel. This particular bell-sleeve top [another major trend right now!] is perfect for the hotter days and cooler nights of spring.

Lace up sandals – I love that lace up sandals are casual and dressy at the same time. Sandals are the perfect spring/summer shoe and the lace up style gives you the “legs for days” look that everyone is always striving for. If you are keeping your outfit simple, a lace up sandal adds a geometric factor to your look. I also love a good block heel, because if you’re all about comfort like I am, it’s way easier to run around town in a block heel than a stiletto.

Chokers – These have been in style for awhile, but I still am loving this trend and I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon. I love a black choker, since I like to keep my jewelry simple. The choker trend is constantly evolving and changing so there really is something for everyone.

For more spring inspiration, I sat down with INC International Concepts for their My Style x My Life campaign, and discussed my favorite of the season and how I work from home. If you want to know more about how I start my day or what exactly I do for work, check out the video below!
